New Video: Front man Ransom, of King Niko, rehearses with Panic! At The Disco, backstage at the X96 Big Ass Show in Salt Lake City, UT on Oct. 8th.
I had issues with the timing too, I kept trying to rush. That song is harder than it looks, yo. But Ransom did a better job than I would’ve.
Okay, so this is my recap of yesterday’s karaoke “auditions” for the Panic show last night. (at one point, Spencer called the whole thing ‘malarioke’, which made me laugh)

Here is a little mini version of last night’s show in Salt Lake. Dallon is singing Let’s Kill Tonight and yes, at the end he does mess up the lyrics. XD
Note: the video might be a little shaky. We had TONS of people crowd surfing and us trying to dodge them. Thanks Kori for filming for me as I was protecting us. lol!
The audio might be a little off. My adjuster isn’t working to well today

24 hours ago we found ourselves in a very peculiar situation. I woke up in Utah planning on headlining the X96 Big Ass Show later that night, but then received the news from Brendon that his doctors wouldn’t let him fly because he could potentially have caught malaria during our recent trip to Indonesia. Brendon broke his ankle in the middle of a show on our last US tour, and proceeded to just take off his shoe and finish the set with a softball in his ankle. He also played every show after that with the broken ankle. Hopefully that speaks to the seriousness of his illness over the last few days.
Our initial knee jerk reaction was that we would have to cancel. There’s just no way around it. Although Brendon is only 1 of 4 people on stage during our set, he is, for most, including myself, the indisputable focal point of the show. But then we started thinking…. is there anything else we could do? Acoustic versions? Some sort of fan karaoke? The three of us were already there, our gear was all set up, and there were a lot of our fans waiting for gates to open, unaware of the current predicament we had found ourselves in. So, we decided, rather than cancel the show entirely, we would instead enlist any and all help we could find from friends to fans, and put together the most entertaining set we could come up within the few hours we had before we went on. We were aware that it wasn’t going to come across in anyway as polished or precise, but that wasn’t the point. The point was to have as much fun as possible, and to make the most of the very uneasy position we were in. And it was fun! Thank you to everyone who stuck around to watch us. If anything I hope it was memorable. It was for us. Like I posted on Twitter last night…. All credit goes to those who filled in on vocals, this wouldn’t have been possible without you.

P.S. Good news: the test results came back negative for malaria last night, so Brendon will be joining us tonight for our show in Reno!
P.P.S Stay tuned for another post about the US tour and a cool way that you can be part of it!
It was rough, it was kind of crazy, but Spencer’s right, it was fun.
We flew to Perth the other day in 3 hours.. However with
@TheIanCrawford ‘s way of flying it took him a little longer..Source: http://twitter.com/zackcloudhall
My favourite photo from tonight, haha.
Soundwave “Counter” Revolution was actually really fun, despite the small venue, confusing timetable, technical problems and whatnot. Yellowcard were actually amazing! Such a shame they only played for half an hour though D:
I love this picture!
